Engaged by G-FORM, MassGrass produced this extreme demo that featured an iPhone surviving a slapshot and accompanying rotating shots of the product. Video assets were leveraged as a part of an integrated marketing, media relations and viral campaign that kick-started pre-sales and quickly became a viral hit, eclipsing a quarter of a million YouTube views in less than a week. Within this production, care was taken to keep a single shot rolling while offering multiple angles so that the iPhone's survival could be verified. Interestingly, there were eight takes of the slapshot, and each time, the phone worked and remained fully protected.
